Just seems more suspect than he usually does. It actually did stop him making runs against Pakistan in England, 3 out of 4 times he was bowled or LBW in that series. Something he should look out for overnight.

Hayne isnt a myth anymore because his 5 good games at the tailend of the season has become common knowledge but he's still the most overrated player going around.

I still think Doug the rug is the best quick in Australia at the moment. Siddle can take 10 in the second dig and it wont change my view there.

I'd be happy for Siddle to retain his spot now he's certainly earned it from the first dig, Johnson is the one who should go. Won't happen though, he could go 0/1500 for the series and he won't go.

Just got home after a massive day and the cricket then half a dozen pubs. what can you say about Siddle???? :crazy: Made us all look stupid, its amazing what happens when he pitches the ball up., He actually looks a good bowler. Hope he can keep bowling lkike that for the whole summer. Oh and Dougie for Johnson please, he even got a few boos by the end of the day.

Not hard to make the likes of El Diablo look stupid... he doesn't really need Siddle's help...

You're right though, Johnson just offers nothing in the way of consistency... the obvious change is Bollinger for him... but you'll likely won the test and it won't happen... plus it's strange that your team is now being selected on the basis of what people did a year + ago (Johnson) or 4 years ago (Hussey).... not a good sign at all...

I was commenting on your opinion not Hilditch's so i'm taking it up with you. Though it's clearly obvious you share the same one which is something i certainly wouldn't be proud of. We all know how much of a clueless halfwit Hilditch is the vast majority of the time regarding team selection and picking Hussey on one day form just proves that. Not much difference if any at all you calling for Siddle's axing in the test team based on a sh*t one day game versus Sri Lanka.......

Apart from a 6 test golden run between the SA test in Sydney and the Lords test where his 63 couldn't even come close to erasing the horror of his bowling he has done jack with the bat.

In 16 tests since then he's scored 269 @ 11.69. Even North doesn't deserve to be compared to that. He isn't an allrounder any more than he's an opening bowler. He is a hack who every now and again gets it to work. The few diamonds come at the cost of a lot of crud.

If he bowls rubbish in an ODI series, do you think that makes him a good test bowler or a bad test bowler ?
