so at tea its looking like 2 of the 4 contentios selections have failed

north- what did we expect
hussey - playing quite well needs to go on and make a big score though
siddle - surpirsed alot of people i think
johnson- will the selectors have the balls to drop him for bolly. unlesss of course he can produce something in the second innings but nothing ive seen indicates that he will. didnt even look like taking a wicket yesterday.

I'll be the first person to say i disagreed with Siddle's selection; he is safe for the series now!!

Come on we all know in the second dig Johnson will pick up 4 tail end wickets and North will get a ton as we collapse to lose by 80 odd. Both will then be locks for the rest of the series.

my we have a lot of doctors here

It's no different to you giving technical advice to our batters, bowlers and selectors telling how they should be doing their job at every opportunity

We're only trying to find a reason/excue why Clarke looked so out of sorts and clueless out there. If it wasn't his back then the only explanation is that he was just out and out sh*t. Is that what you'd prefer?

But if our vice captain and supposed future captain tells the selectors he's fit and ready to go then what are they meant to do? Say nah we don't believe you? Don't get me wrong, i think the selectors are brain dead halfwits as much as the next person but they can hardly rule someone out if in fact he did say he was fully fit and ready to go. Anyway he's in now so lets hope it doesn't cause the team any more damage.
they had no problem telling Bolly that

no difference huh ?

bit of a difference between being a cricket player/coach which I am, and you having a medical degree, which you obviously dont

fancy some one on an internet forum having an opinion

who'd have thought ?

Or option 3, he was out of sorts today, according to Clarkey his back was OK before the test match

Gilly just said Clarkey was extremely nervous in the dressing rooms before he went out to bat. He certainly wasn't his usual self.

He looked restricted in his movements Twiz, you don't have to be a doctor to see that.

Clarke won't play in Adelaide nothing more certain of it IMO. This alone will save North. Lets see how Johnson bowls in the second innings before we drop him. Imagine how long our tail will be without Johnson also. Hussey looks 4 years younger todays and he is batting that way too.

I thought he moved OK, he was just beaten by some good bowling.

you are the only person that thinks that. Would love Clarke to be fit but looks like he isn't. Lets hope we can win this test so we can rest him because I can't see him getting through he summer at this rate.

not the only person, Heally said the same thing in the tea break when they showed all his shots

maybe he could have hurt his back while he was out there, only Clarkey would know

As mentioned you don't need to be a doctor to see he was restricted in his actions, you only need eyes. That's not a diagnosis and never claimed it to be, it was only my thoughts (as well as several others) that he just wasn't moving freely.
