We needed Hussey and Haddin to push on yesterday I feel. Wasted opportunity perhaps???

We needed some more contributions only 4 of the 11 batsman did anything there's not much more you can ask from Hussey and Haddin with 300 partnership even if Hussey threw his wicket away. We are a 4 out all out team and only Watson and Katich are regularly doing anything and tbh Watson should be first drop and Ponting down to 6 or flicked all together

For all the vitriole about Siddle... it's Johnson that should go... he's bowling about as badly as itls possible to - there's always the hope he'll turn it around quickly, he seems like that sort of bowler... but he doesn't seem as quick as he was, and he has so many fundamental flaws... plus he hasn't added anything with the bat for some time... Bollinger for him, and anyone for North (unless North takes Doherty's place

My comment is fair given the comment in my opinion is stupid and stupid comments don't add weight to one's argument. To suggest Johnson is a dud or never had it or whatever the comment was is stupid. Just my opinion. You don't take 60 wickets at Test level in a calendar year and get labelled a dud.

England don't have to regain the Ashes. Fair play to them if we cannot bowl them out and they bat to the point where draw is the only real option outside an Australia batting collapse that would see them win. They hold the urn, escaping with a draw at worst will be a small win for them given they were under the pump and didn't capitulate like touring teams of the past from England.
