Thanks buddy. My enthusiasm always outweighs my patience, so I was feeling a bit deflated yesterday. Especially with turdwipe cousins swinging from the trees to tell me about the $50 I now owe them to cover their bet. Fmd.

Just as soon as I thought we might pinch 2nd, we got bobbed on the line into 4th. Ouchy mumma.

How was that Starspangledbangable just dropping the field by 7 lengths?! Hooley dooley. Caller said he hadn’t seen a margin like that down the straight for some time.

Anyway, that’s racing. Trainer says we’ll now look for something easier midweek. We had a crack and found out where he’s at.

At least he’s jumping and starting well. That’s a bit harder to train into ‘em. He’ll get fitter and hopefully smarter and the penny will drop.

Not every type handles straight racing so soon...maybe try a Sandown sprint & work his way back towards metro class eventually.

I can’t see you getting 4s about Whisper but who knows…I’ve taken Glint Of Hope to beat it, finished nicely last time & seems to have improved a tad from last spring. Hopefully sits in the first 6 or so from its gate & launches.
Don’t mind Count De Rupee after last start in Bris, might be turning the corner now.
Also had a speck on Ashgrove at 16s in the Guineas, only win was a Maiden so Gollan wouldn’t be putting it in this to make up the numbers
Not much else I can see, Fawkesbury & Sandown will be bog merkin tracks so avoiding completely…
