Your team is based on common sense Colonel, Smithy on the other hand may not use such methods.

Is Vella definately available this week ?

I believe so but I suppose we won't know until this afternoon or an hour before the game. I can see Ben Smith as a chance of being added to the top squad. This kid has moved up well through the grades....

Well we have a choice now of giving some of these younguns a go or use the recycled playes from other clubs.

Perhaps its not a bad idea to mix experience with youth.

I would love to see some of these kids, just to see what they look like.

I liked Tsoulos last week, but I can also see he needs to get his mistake rate down.

Do you think BS will give them a run so I can have a look at them.

Some new talent in the centres is needed. The facts are that Lyon isnt coming back and that Vaealiki is out with a very serious ankle injury. Graham has one of the spot nailed down IMO and someone else might come in. I am not conviced that Langi is a long term prospect and he should be replaced with a young long term propect such as Ben Smith or Matt Lantry (which you guys have named, i have never seen these guys before).

That will come. I think perhaps he was getting a bit excited on Saturday night. It was clearly the biggest impact the kid had ever had in a frist grade game, all of a sudden he found himself able to offload after sucking in three or four guys, he'll learn from saturday night that he needs to be more selective.

Problem is Graham is a very long way from first grade form. He played Flegg 2 weeks ago and looked very shaky. Last week he sat out all three grades. He'll be lucky to crack first grade for at least another month. I'd be playing it safe and sticking with Langi and Wagon as Vaealiki's replacement at left centre. I don't think it's the right time to blood another rookie. I think if we revert back to a traditional half + 5/8 combination as most other sides play in the NRL our play will improve 100%. I think it's time for Witt. Cracks have been starting to appear in the 2 locks strategy for the past 2 weeks. If Dykes is shut down we've got nothing. We need another attacking option.

for me, Langi has a centre spot he is the best centre at the club now that Lyon is gone and Vaealiki is injured, the other centre spot should go to Graham when he is fully fit and found the form that he had last yr

I still need to be convinced about Langi, all i see him as now is as a good dumbyhalf runner.
