Oh it's just tradition in this forum to clamour for a sacking win lose or draw

It doesn't matter if there is no better option

It's just " quick ..sack [insert villain of the week]"

That's a much more formidable looking bench with that change.

I don't think Taga is going to be available, possibly grand final only? It was a 6 week min injury I thought they first said?

Frenzy.

But it creates the perfect balance against "bring up and untested Newtown Jets centre to play in a prelim final" type of thinking man's post......

Won't surprise me either. Getting Bird in around the ball could be Pissflaps "ace up the sleeve" for the semis. I mean seriously there was no way he was going into the big games with the same old, same old.
Well it worked for NSW in their only win this year

The thing that pissed me off the most about Beale's last touch is that he was right there watching Croker going for the one on one strip the previous tackle.

And yet he runs up with the ball in one arm and straight at Croker.

It showed zero brains and why he needs to be dropped to make way for Capewell.

I can't believe that Kenny niko isn't in NRL yet. Or let's put Kyle flanno straight into the 7.

Chad will be picked. Same team that was named last game will be named again. The only changes will be the make up of the bench.
HAS to find a place for Capewell. Hopefully at the expense of Beale/Loots (whoever he doesn't start).

Zero brains & zero focus on the game.

If he can't concentrate on the game for a minute, how does he go the whole game??

Look at the top 6 sides and the halfbacks.
1.Jt
2.Cooper c
3.Cleary
4. Hunt
5.Sezer

6.Chad T

To see Cleary has played what a dozen games and already makes CT look bad, tells us something he is not up tot the mark.

I give CT this he starts the season well but each time struggles back end of season, maybe can convert CT into hooker next season, Toovey like but he just seems to lack agression.

Its funny how CT seems to be forgiven, but people were calling for J.Bird to be dropped benched when he is already in front of CT as player with plenty more upside, but Bird must have got some people offside as he wants to win at all costs

Beale though, wtf did that bloke actually do? Hand Canberra one more chance is about all. Taga for JSL, Capewell for Beale.

You know it's right.
Definitely ... with Taga's fitness being the big question.

BTW I think Ennis overplayed his hand a fair bit against the Raiders, and took a few wrong options.
The whole face one way at DH, then go the other disjointed our attack & confused our first receivers at times.
Also the grubber on the third tackle with only a forward chasing.
And the few lost balls (including the infamous tap & go).
Dare I say it, had a touch of the Robbie Farahs about it ...

Of course his experience, defence, toughness & competitive drive are all huge assets for us in the big games.
He just needs to be more selective with those surprise options, and let his halves build pressure the rest of the time.

Yes Ennis has seemed a little off, but thought he increasingly came good on Saturday.

On Chad, I was one of those lamenting his signing and was happily being proven wrong till a few weeks ago. It really is weird that he has dropped off markedly the last 2 years at the back end. Could possibly excuse last year as he lost Johnson...but just can't work out why he's losing it this year. Something off the park? An injury? Dunno.

Flannos got it right though. Our best chance to win the big games is for Chad to have a good game. He's shown what he can do in a bunch of games. So keep picking him, carry a back on the bench as insurance and hope he doesn't drop his bundle.
