Not sure why you think its impossible for non nrl players to know nrl players. My observed opinion is that players with much higher stature than Ben Barba enjoy the coca cola. It is the most used drug by Nrl players because it leaves the system so quickly it becomes a calculated gamble by them to use it.

And FYI the shire is home to many players that aren't Sharks.
