Haven’t even driven a mustang, I just don’t like them & they’re everywhere now, like arseholes
Last year on the Fox Bathurst Channel they were showing a lot of the 70's and 80's Hardie/Hardie Ferodo 1000's. So many classics.. I can't find many pics on the net but this is the John Goss Racing XC Falcon - the Brabhams raced in. I thought it looked awesome. But how about the Sponsor.
Stud Cola! How very 70's..
Stud cola. I'd forgotten about that. The cans looked like denim jeans.
Haha - how right you are.... and how about the slogan at the top of the can!
Bit more recent but these bad boys smashed everyone at the Bathurst 24 hour race both years it was run.
I know the guy who built the engines in those!
I'm picking two
^ Not a Bathurst classic per se. However, it did come up in my YouTube recommendations and I thought the posters in this thread may appreciate it.
Who could forget this car?
I cant think of 3 more iconic bathurst cars going 1-2-3 in the race lead..
I can't find picture's of Murray Carters XD Falcon that had the huge crash coming down the Esses... but always remember how brilliant his falcon's looked.
I still remember the trips up the Pacific to spend the long weekend at my grandparents' place in Lismore
My dad, my uncle and me in front of the telly all day Sunday watching Brock and Johnson going at it
On Friday, I went ot Phillip Island for the Historic. One of the places I was at was the entry to t1. Having never seen Group A live when they were the class for the ATCC. It was pretty good watching them fly in there, and you go an appreciation for those cars that I hadn't when watching elsewhere on the track or when on tv. They're obviously great cars.
