Wow. What a massive struggle this is going to be. I was toying with my ground, and ended up with a 'flat' pitch for todays game.

Outstanding. They're 0/78 after 11.

What a magnificent fightback from the lads.

And by 'fightback' I mean, one of them managed to fluke a wicket. Currently 1/188 after 30 overs.

Full credit to Bishop though. They were cruising well above 7 an over when he came onto bowl, and he's single handedly dropped the runrate with figures of 1/13 after 5 overs. He's a pretty crap bowler as well, so this is a watershed moment for him.

Everytime I look at how terrible my team is, there is always someone on here who has had an even worse game. I don't care if you're in a harder division, I still need to take something from this - it's the only thing keeping my team morale above 'suicidal'.

A fightback of epic proportions is on the cards here - 4/77 + my in-form batsman (Bobby Raven!) cruising along on 41. COME ON YOU STYLERS!!

Played the team 2nd in my division. Made 152 and they got it 4 down. Not the worst showing boy my boys. They will be better for it. they didnt loose any friends in defeat.

Im looking forward to Sunday now. Playing some rank team called "the stylers". Checked there page, theyve got nothing. First win coming up for sure.

Respectable loss in the end. Went down by 82 runs. All out for 245. One bloke cracked a dashing 122, and Bobby Raven continued his good form with a composed 85.

I'm so confident of winning the friendly on Sunday that I might chuck a few of the younger players into the team - can't hurt giving them a run against some park cricketers, right?

It was my first OD game and it was against last place. I took a risk and took it easy. I was worried at first when they scored 6/277. But luckily i got that total in 40.1 overs. My opener got 152 off 117 not out. YAY

I've got a strong spinner, superb spinner, proficient all-rounder who is my captain, and a couple of competants...but yeah,....i want to be back in Div 4...and work my way up.

problem is its my 3 best batsman who are out of there. usually they bat for 30 overs or so then the rest of the team crumbles for another 20 runs.
