Appreciate you saying Hevy, wish i could claim them.

I know you do a few gig reviews Devy, did you get the chance to catch Coheed while they were out? I would have loved to have seen Chris Penne- but missed it unfortunately.

No I didn't. I don't even get to see half the bands I want to see - but that's cool, at least I get to interview Testament next week!

You know, the only problem with doing a lot of heavy metal interviews etc is that I barely have time to listen to all the new metal CDs I get let alone expand my horizons.

It's a shame because I'm not purely metal at all, but I can't complain. I still love nothing better than scaring my neighbours by cranking some Immortal.

Ahh everyone needs a niche', if your peers see you as the go to metal guy than your going to get the good jobs. As much as i try to expand my horizons- i always find myself going back to the old favorite cd's.

Who do you interview for? I'd like to read some of your work if you ever have some on-line. Hell, I'll even go out and buy a metal (shock) magazine if i have too.

As a hard rock/alternative guy i cant wait for the release of Cog's new album (april 10 i think)... and also Karnivool touring the coast at the end of this month. I cant remember aussie bands being this good!

Yes but at least he revolutionised guitar playing.

Certainly he would rate among the 5 most influential of all time.

Oh and elyod, fortunately Eddie possesses both

Well he has sold more guitar music books then anyone else, VH 1 together with Hendrix are you experienced albums have been labelld the most influential albums of all time which in turn influenced a generation.

Just listened to it.

It wasn't going too badly until the guy started singing. From then on: f**king sh*thouse.

It is like comparing the techno Poison remix to Alice Coopers version. The guitar solo is absolute pissweak and embarrasing imo, i'm surprised that they didn't get eddie or someone with genuine complex guitar playing abilities to do it.

I listen to music for the sound not how many fuggen music books it sells.

I would rather listen to Slim Dusty the Van Halen.

I still want to come and see your band sometime Carch!!
Our other guitarist has finally come good after 1 year and 2 ops on his ear.

We should be back into soon.

There is some surfing/all day music festival down Milton/Ulladulla we have been asked to do.
A mate is involved somehow.

We have changed heaps in the last last year. We decided to turn down a bit and use a bit of acoustic guitar.
This only came about due to the other guys ear probs.
Am ate came to see us rehearse and had to stand outside becuase of the seer volume.
Stupid really...I couldn't hear myself sing the last couple of years.
