Beaver's 400th.

EDIT: Wrong discussion board, Mod please move to Manly please.

Only 11 rounds into the English Super League Season, Steve Menzies is only 14 games away from his 400th professional football game.

I think this would be a phenomenal achievement if he gets through the rest of the season injury free and Bradford can make the finals.

Does anyone know what the next best is for most professional league games?

Thread shouldn't have been moved tbh, Beaver's an ornament to the game, in a dark period for the code.

No idea on the record, but I still love Beaver more than ever. Come back for one more season Steven.

A few English players would have that beat.

Brad Fittler has the modern day record, 415 senior fixtures including rep football in Australia. Beaver's total is now 421, probably the most for an active player. The way he's going I think he could give 450 a shake.

Brian Bevan played at least 740 senior games.

7 for Eastern Suburbs
695 for Warrington
at least 20 games from Bradford

16 games for Other Nationalities
1 game for British Empire XIII
1 game for Rugby League XIII (Rest of the world type team)

there may be a few Pommie players that have bettered that though

And Darren Lockyer has 408 games at the moment and is still going

Is this including rep games? Because Lockyer would have played his 400th on the weekend also (320 Broncos, 50 Australia, 30 QLD). Might have been last weekend.
