Sydney Brewery Surry Hills Pils. It's like someone said "let's make a knock off of Reschs, but put it in a smaller bottle, sell it as a 4 pack, and charge $18 a slug retail".

Yeah Rogers is pretty nice tbh.

Basically getting drunk watching footy in my living room now. Will have to switch to Coopers after this beer. I can do that

To be honest, working behind the bar has made me see the advantage sof midstrength. Alot of the footy team we sponsor drink XXXX Gold (not denying it's a terrible beer), and from our side of the bar it really is a good thing. It just holds them back that little bit over a big night. Suddenly they have ten beers, but it's about 5 standards less, make sit alot easier for us

Drinking Little Creatures Pale from Geelong and its meh. Am I imagining it's not as good as the stuff from WA? Also super hungover which probably explains it.

Racked up a few new beers. Started with Robot Ninja Sorachi Lager, because it has an awesome name. Rice lager, I actually really enjoy it. It's still light, being a lager but it's got a sort of creamy, grainy finish and it's a little hoppy.

Copper is a mid!?

Also, the Super Dry mid is pretty good on tap

Yeah Copper is a mid. I like it. More flavour than a lot of full strength beers around.

White Rabbit Belgian Pale Ale. I will be drinking an awful lot of this I think. At the same time I can see a lot of people (mostly beer snobs) not liking it.

Tried the JS copper and hop thief yesterday.. Both pretty good, their version of the American pale ale is no where near as fruity tasting as the Sierra Nevada, which makes it more sessionable(for me at least).

Will try the minimum chips from Matilda Bay later on today, have heard good and bad about it.

Had a bunch of golden ales from Hawthorne brewing last week, a very nice beer, also had feral hop hog which is like a whole bunch of other beers of that ilk really. I think the nZ epic beer has set way too high of a marker in terms of taste in that market for me I think.

Just discovered there are breweries in Newstead here in Brisbane. Going to try them next weekend, any one been?

Had Mango Beer last night, good shit. Also had Stowaway IPA, Samuel Adams and some Honey Wheat beer. All good, but the Honey beer was incredible. Also had a chili beer which burned like a motherf**ker.

All tasty beverages.
