Being despised outsiders next week against the Panthers is perfect for us. Does anyone think we can get it done?

Well, can we?

We normally like to keep ball in play to out last the opposition and keep the tempo up but feel against Penrith we maybe better off finding touch at the end of every set. Making their forwards get back faster and having a set defensively line.

Especially with the refs putting the whistle away. We won’t outlast Penrith, our kick chase has been poor and tend to concede lots of meters early in sets.

Maybe not all game long but the opening 25min till our bench comes on and pick up the tempo.

Last time we played Panthers dominated possession 61% to 39%

For us to win it will have to be the other way around
That was on my mind coming into this game, considering the shyte starts we've had these last two games not including Manly game, which was shyte as well. I think we need to work that part out.
3rd time lucky would be nice.

I had a vision that the 1967 teams would win the next 10 Grand Finals - Penrith hand the baton to Cronulla this weekend and we go one and win 6 x Premierships in a row to cement 1967 as the greatest year ever for teams to enter the competition.

I'm on Brailey for that. $10 into $1200 I think it is

Go watch that. Look at the different characters and personalities hanging out and laughing. Think back to Fitz in the pressers and the players and how every answer goes back to "connected". Listen to the song - "Hate it or love it the under dog is on top"

I love Ramiens music choices. The song he posted before the Storm game ended in some f**king hilarious lines and showed how fired up they were.

Honestly it really couldn’t be that hard to make him uncomfortable if they wanted to go after him. Nikora shoot out and make good first contact and then a couple of the big boys in late over the top and put as much pressure on that shoulder as they can on the ground.

at the end of the day, we’re going to need to do more than go after Cleary.
Exactly - hignhim hard/late whatever, but get numbers in the tackle, make sure the weight of 4 players slams down on him.

I think we should make it personal and target certain players - Cleary, To’o and either JFH or Leota (you can’t target them all), but make sure, every time we get a chance, run at them, everytime any of them get the ball, make it as rough as possible. Hit em hard, give em the afters, be prepared to put on a stink - let’s stop being so fecking nice.

The only way to beat Penrith is the kicking game. grubbers for Repeat sets or trys. Bomb the 10x10 as their wingers are short. Kick on the 4th. Bomb the sticks. go for 20/40's on 3rd when running out of own end. Kick on the 2nd if they are compressed. f**k their systems right up . We will not beat them going try for try
Cause chaos. That's the trick
Controlled chaos. Among other idea's

You certainly don't have the kicking talent for this. What you actually need to do is repeatedly force Tago into making decisions, he's an awful defender. The issue with this is Martin will absolutely belt your centre and backrowers taking these lines

I don't know where to put this but go back and watch the kick off from Friday night. Iro is SPRINTING. He gets to their prop about 5m ahead of anyone and gets his man. He was so far ahead of others he was that pumped to put a shot on a bloody prop. Love that shit. Do it again this week!

Watch the replays. games. Of panthers losses this year. Play your strengths towards their weaknesses. Watch World club championship
Replays WCC. Superleague club's. St Helens
Wigan. Dominated Panthers in both games
Even Dragons beat both Panthers at Penrith park. and Storm at Melbourne. This year. FFS
Roosters could have won last week vs Panthers

Free shot. There’s no pressure. All pressure and expectation on the Panthers.

That’ll do wonders for the team mentality.

All you want is to be right in the game at half time…we are such a confidence team, when we are on we get going.

Penrith off the back of the break will come out guns blazing. Hold them for the first 15-20 and anything is possible.
