On a side note the Storm walking to that press conference was one of the lamest things I've seen. Mainly because Hoffman was trying to look tough!
Plenty of people deserve premierships and miss out. Nathan Hindmarsh is one. The individuals of the 2009 Melbourne Storm team did everything required to win a premiership and therefore, in my opinion, deserved it.
The actions of the club itself does not diminish the enormity of what the players did as individuals.
People on here expect them to grovel at their feet like meek little dogs, beg for their forgiveness and bend over and humiliate themselves on the ground for the rest of the year to make them happy.
After all that then they would find something else they do not like to latch onto and cry about. for example Slater looked a little to happy or showed off a little to much out there this week. He should be in discrase and behave accordinly.
The moral of the story is no matter what the Storm do or say people will still find something they do not like.
The supporters are rallying behind the group and if they are going to make it through the season they need to circle the wangons around the team to galvanise themselves against the hatered they will be recieving.
He is obviously a rugby league fan, we all care...we cannot pretend it didnt happen like some that cheat do.Cerne Abbas Giant said:Why do you care anyway. If you don't like it , don't read it.
i can't wait for the evidence against the players to come out as Gallop intimated yesterday
will show articles like this to be the tripe it is
it's called denial
In the abc interview, Gallop said something along the lines of any player who signed two contracts HAD to have had alarm bells ringing
common sense, no?
:lol::lol:
Did Gallop have any alarm bells ringing for 5 years?
Thats what Gould said about Gallop actually.. maybe Gallop has used what gould said to him and turned it around to the Storm and tried to make out like he made it up all on his own..
:lol::lol:
As individuals, they DO deserve those premierships. As a group of individuals, they did everything that was required of them to be on the winning team of a grand final. They can be proud of the sacrifices they made, their skill level, toughness, dedication etc.
Unfortunately, the Melbourne Storm football club cheated the system and does NOT deserve the premierships. It is for this reason alone that the players will be erased from the record books; not because the players didn't do all that was required of them. That's all Bellamy is saying...
f**k him I feel sympathy for the fans but zero for the club and players cuz they've always been deadsh*ts with grubby tactics.
i agree can you imagine the public outcry if the storm were accused by the nrl of cheating the salary cap without any proof and found innocent? they could sue the nrl for millionsKnowing something and proving something are very different though isn't it simo?
Gould can garble on all he likes about this but a certain burden of proof must be met before any action can be taken. It is required for a just outcome.
Some of you merkins are unbelievable. Bellamy and the players feel just as cheated as anyone.
Put it this way, put yourselves in their shoes (assuming theyre innocent) wtf would you do? Wtf would you say?
You think your a victim? Think about the players who worked their arses off for a premiership. Why do you feel cheated again?
