Billy Smith was an immortal compared to McCrone . . . great player that he wasBilly Smith.
This whole 'needs to prove he can deliver under pressure' thing is very interesting to me.

Where are all these 100% dependable 'big game' halves?
Obviously there are none, but it's easy to satisfy your conclusion when the goal posts are set that wide.
Rewatch any of the tight Cowboys/Broncos derbies from 2015 onward and tell me what the dude offers in the last 10 minutes of any of the games. That's a fair indictment considering the past 6 or so have went down to the wire.
Ben Hunt is better at hooker? Those are the thoughts according to Danny Buderus. If someone would know what they are talking about it is Buderus. I remember Andrew Johns talking about his career, and Knights didn't know what do with him. One game because of injuries they decided to fill him in at hooker and the rest is history.
Hunt has gone out this week and denied his preferred position is hooker. Broncos look better right now though with him at hooker, positions look more defined. Combinations seem to be working better but its still early days. But when was at half back with Milford there, it just looked like there were too many cooks spoiling the broth.

We didn't sign Hunt to a 500k contract to have him play hooker just because he is going ok for the Broncos in a few games.
So you have seen the contract and can confirm that figure or you believe what the Daily Telegraph reports??Well obviously you didn't as he signed for $1.2m a season.
$500K? hah you're dreaming. I don't know the exact details obviously but I'd reckon its closer to $1.2M than it is $500K. Be lucky to pick up a decent centre for $500K.
And I think he looks better at 9 than 7 too, at least for the Broncs. He'll be shit wherever he plays under Mary though so who cares.
If you read my post correctly the premise of 500k was a p*sstake. Of course we paid big money but the $1.2m has been refuted by Ian Millward(StG recruitment)as well above what we actually paid.Any Dragons fan thinking Hunt is on less than 1 million a year is out of touch, we rarely lose our key players at the Broncos, I am not saying they sign on for a pie and a coke but it takes a lofty bid to lure them away
To think since Hunt moved on we've signed Jack Bird on a million dollar a year contract, trust me, if the Dragons offer to Ben Hunt was 500k, he'd be playing for Brisbane next year

Of course not...there's also the opportunity to play under Bennett, and reduce homesickness!!Any Dragons fan thinking Hunt is on less than 1 million a year is out of touch, we rarely lose our key players at the Broncos, I am not saying they sign on for a pie and a coke but it takes a lofty bid to lure them away
