The game plan at the end with kicking it into touch is negative, but it came damn close to working. I've always found that teams that go for it more in big games, usually win. He followed a game plan, again, something he will get over.

He'll recover. He's got the right people around him.

It's weird that people like to blame the edge defense for an error but not Hunt. At least they were outdone by a form player desperate to set up a try, rather than a standard kickoff. I did have the same reaction to Sterlo and probably everyone else when he dropped it though. Why couldn't it just have been Darius?

Thought he had a pretty sub-standard game overall before that too.

But he'll bounce back, he'll win premierships, win Origin series' etc. Hodges isn't defined by Origin in-goal passes and nor will Hunt be in this respect.

The Broncos left hand side defense that let Morgan through should feel worse. It was literally the final few seconds of a GF, they had him covered and they blew it

The winger was drawn away from the side line by a support player cutting to the inside of Morgan. Morgan deserves a lot of credit but that runner also deserves some for allowing his winger to have an open lane

Now that I've slept on it, the game was already lost for us when they scored the final try, not when Hunt dropped the ball. The broncos aren't renowned for their meters up the field and I don't think Hunt/Milford can take a drop kick from 40 out in those conditions.

The Cows were always going to be in the better position for the field goal, I guess they just got their chance one set earlier.
