Oh come on gentlemen , can you really blame him for not wishing to return to Cane-Toad county ?

Apparently the Sydney clubs are offering more dollars than his beloved Broncos , whether or not they receive enough bang for their bucks is another matter .

He just belts out one excuse after another.

On his reckoning, the club and everyone around him was always the problem but it seems he never stopped to wonder if he was actually the issue.

And with the carry on and snerking about coaches aren’t too keen on putting up with competition in the roster.

You’d have to make a strong argument to sign him, fill his contract up with conditions and hope he performs.

That big article said it hit the fan ( this time around) when it was put to him that he wasn’t earning his keep for such a high salary. Then he decides Flanno was being insolent and unruly.

Pity to see Hook lose what was left of his dignity, backing the wrong horse.

Unsurprising though given his departure.

With Lomax, seems like everyone with a bone to pick with SGI is getting stuck in.

I am so surprised why clubs will go near this guy after his comment. Wants to head back to Qld but then changes his mind because of money. Now if he was earning peanuts you can understand he wants to make the most of his last years but he was on 1mil a season for years so would be set up for his future.

Dogs have Reed Mahoney so he would only go to half for them but that may block their youngster who is a gun apparently and Sexton already looking to leave if Hunt joins. Sexton played all over him in the 2 gams against the Dogs so that also surprises me.

Whereas the Roosters have Brandon Smith at hooker. He is not wanted for 2026 so maybe looking to get Hunt in and remove Brandon asap. Walker is their half and Chad Townsend was brought in at 5/8 because he is an organisning half with a great kicking game. He has won a comp unlike Hunt. You would think Hunt's only option is hooker at the Chooks. Does he want to play hooker? God knows. Sounds like he will play where ever you want him as long as he gets the money he is after except for the Saints.

Which ever tam he goes to, I feel he will weaken and only prove Flanno right for letting him go.

Well that’s what I’ve heard from the ex rooster kid at work who got invited on their cruise.

They’re not prepared to pay him what he thinks he’s worth or overs and they definitely won’t put up with any crap.
