Ben Kennedy is a disgraceful dog

The only way to stop these accusations is to let the on field officials call the game the way they see it. If the video ref sees something he notes it down and the judiciary looks at later.

Players won't be getting accused of laying down as their will be no advantage in it, supporters and coaches don't need to question the legitemacy of injuries suffered as a result of possible foul play.

Only problem then is that some in the media get back on their high horse when something is missed and so the cycle goes.

of course they won't admit to it.

Just on that, Johns did admit in an interview that he stayed down clutching his knee to chew some time for his side.

theres an openly critical tread about crockers on-field behaviour, where most people a willing participants in ridiculing him.

yet the majority are in defence of BK. i tell you, only crocker and BK knew how hard he was actually hit, and if crocker believed he did any damage i bet he wouldnt have touched him. put yourself in their position:
joey feins injury to buy time, fine...no one else is involved.
BK stays down and its crockers reputation at stake, which he didnt do any favours by pulling him off the ground, but i can see why he did try to pick him up. he knew that the contact didnt warrant staying on the ground.

Crocker didn't pick up BK, it looked like Ben Ross. It definately wasn't Croker

You what?

One is about Crocker and his onfield thuggery, the other is about a guy supposedly diving to win a penalty. How the hell can you compare them?

It doesn't matter what Crocker believed. He couldn't be sure if any damage was done. Sometimes things happen with the slightest of knocks.

How is Joey any different apart form nobody else involved. Isn't he faking an injury for the good of his team? Isn't Kennedy faking an injury for the good of his team? Both the same, different results.

Crockers reputation? Give me a break. He has one that is good to protect hey? He hit him high, weather he hurt him or not, he still hit him high. So why does his reputation come into it?

I'll admit to not having seen the incident yet (still waiting for the online video feed), but doesn't it come back to if you (Crocker) don't throw at punch at someone's head, you're removing the opportunity for someone to even take a dive in those circumstances?

If you play tough but fair, your won't get caught out by any gamesmanship. If you've let your toughness overstep the line, then I guess you deserve it?

Yep, am not in London so am fine and OK.

The London stuff on the news is reminding me of stuff in the 80s and 90s that used to happen there, with the IRA extremists.

I'm based at York, Headingley is at Leeds (also home ground of the Rhinos), and about 25 mins away.

Yeah, a bit overcast, but a bit of blue sky. And it can change about four times a day up here anyway.

Headingley is strange. I think it's in the "university sector" of Leeds, so in the middle of all these houses etc. Comes across like a bigger version of Belmore

yeah, I remember getting the shock of my life when I was in the UK and making a trek to headingly to watch Yorkshire play. couldnt believe people lived literally across a small suburban road from the ground!!

and to keep on topic, I wonder if ben kennedy ever played and took a dive at the ground next door where the rhinos play?
