Both been shopped around I think would be a good pick up especially with the injuries we have at the moment
Really like Ben think he would be amazing for us
Packer I think would have a point to prove Which is always a good thing

No & No. Not worth it not even for low money. Would have taken Ben about 4 years ago when he was killing it with the Warriors. Appears to be past it just like as is Packer who shoved his thumb up at us for more money which was always poor recruitment by the Tigers. We did the right thing and dodged a bullet there. We dont need more grandpas and experience as Mary puts it.
Why do you think McGuire does not want them in 1st grade. We cant carry em at the Drgaons either . Roosters, Souths, Melb or Broncos can carry them in reserves or bench positions with their squads.
We need some raw young ones to get a go. Besides we have enough experience in our forwards around the joint Vaughan, Graham & Sims bros, Frizz. I left Lats out as his time in 1st grade should be over if we are fed dinkum.

Please can we put this thread to bed. I don't want players passed their Prine anymore. These two are spent. We bought James Graham to give our young forwards direction and some attitude and commitment. If they haven't seen what it takes to reach the top they haven't been watching James. Give him a job a hiring, firing and coaching our forward pack.

Yes we need one of the SOO forwards to replace JDB and a top line right centre to replace Aitken. Of course we also need a couple of speedy first grade wingers but that idea has passed us bye and we just have to live with what Millward has delivered.

We could do worse than test our two fastest players on the wing, Dufty and Field. Yes they may be rag dolled, targeted with the high ball and found wanting in defence. Mary needs to devise a counter for each of those circumstances. Yes we may lose games because of this decision but we are losing games anyway.

What we need to do is put aside all of the dead wood, put in place the players we want to keep and play them in their preferred/best positions.

By doing this at least we will have the bones of a team well drilled in their position for season 2020. During the rest of this season we should be targeting players we still need for other first grade positions and arranging the discard of players that just don't cut it in first grade.

I say, during the remainder of 2020 recruit or promote suitable players for inclusion in our top 30 and give notice to those we do not want to keep.

Honestly neither Dufty or Field should be in NRL both to small and shirty. Dufty could make it as Fullback if he had some big wingers for support and Feild he is a Touch Football Player. Agree with the rest Big Centres Wingers and a real good fullback

They’re not too small, although Dufty could do with a few kg extra. Billy Slater went alright and played around 86kg at most. You’re right that Dufty needs two big wingers outside though. Also has a bit of work to do on his technique on attitude.

You might also remember a bloke by the name of Benji Marshall. He was a touch footy player too. Also played around 86kg for most of his career. Field wouldn’t be far off that now and hasn’t done much wrong in his two games.

The Roosters are well within the salary cap - just ask the NRL to confirm. They seem to have unlimited access to TPA but are only middle on the ladder utilising TPA. So what is their secret? They have learnt from the Storm's cheating experience and developed a discovery proof fourth payment agreement (FPA) system.

Don't you find it amazing that SGI is still trying to get it's head around third party agreements (TPA) when the Roosters have already perfected both TPA and FPA.

Benji was a star though just don't see that in Field. If we can work out how to stop Dufty being ragdolled be good. I think it's with assistance from wingers and let him chime in thru holes don't be a battering ram which he ain't.
