First 30 min.
All bad news so far.
Every time he tries to create it goes to shit.

Intercept. Stripped of ball. No look Forward pass. Poor option kick on first tackle. Dropped ball.

Horror show so far.

Exactly the same as when he played halfback for us. He is a runner, always has been always will be. Trying way too hard to create chances for everyone else and looks too scared to run.

Not to bad for his first game in 8months. The forward pass was a line ball. And tbh his choice to use the optional restart to kick down field didnt work but I give him credit for having the balls to try it.

You guys just want to be critical. I hope he succeds for the dragons and for our great game

People expect something special from him every play, realistically that's not going to happen, sure he made some mistakes but he was at least trying and cannot be blamed entirely for that loss, Parramatta deserve a lot of credit for a great performance.

I didn't watch it until the end and then he passed it into the crowd. He spoke well again after the game but I'm not sure he has it in him anymore.

He needs to run it but he won't be that same runner of the footy again.

Im with you.. so often his outside backs arent in position and Benji takes the blame for braindead wingers .

The bad signs are all there.

They were there when he said he wanted to come back to RL. Was told he had months of provincial rugby ahead of him before working his way into the Super 15 and took the easy option of coming back to the NRL.

Easy options are what has always been his downfall

I think Benji has always spoken well. Benji has for as long as I can remember been very good at saying the right things. Unfortunately for us, it was only on a rare occasion he actually backed his words up on the field. On the few occasions we watched Benji play a reasonably 'controlled' game in the 7 jersey being followed up by him telling the media that he was going to be playing like that from now on because that's what the team needed only to then be followed the very next weekend by the usual crap we got with him for years.
I know he did some amazing things at our club but I am more than happy he is no longer our problem. I even take a small amount of pleasure knowing it's the Dragons that he decided to take the circus to.

Part of me is sad for him part of me is laughing. Just seeing him out there in that jersey looked wrong.

He played like crap the last year with the Tigers, played like crap in Union, played crap in his first game for St George. But the hopeful Saints fans are saying "give him time, he's been out of the game, he'll come good".

He has lost his athleticism, lacks speed and this has killed his running game. It was evident in Rugby mores the STG game was a carry over. His passing game has always been hit and miss. I don't see a turnaround but I hope he can do it. Should have gone to France or England and taken the cash.

WT management are making some key decisions: Marshall (dumped by blues looks horrible), Ayshford (asked to look elsewhere by Sharks, Hino (OK but not setting the world on fire), Ryan (Average and often injured this year) If they can punt Moltzen its job complete for me.

Gee the sharks must hate us right now.
Gibbs hasn't set the world on fire for them, due to injuries and poor form, Ryan looks like he may retire soon and Ash has been told to look else where.

The one former Tiger they do need, even for just 2-3 years, is actually Tim Sheens.

Sheens has a very good track record of setting up very good systems for club juniors and bringing them into first grade, at the start of his career at a club.

Sharks have struggled in this area for an eternity, as they've been trying to buy a premiership essentially.

Brian Smith is also capable of such things.

Benji and Ricky Stuart are very similar, they keep getting offered big fat contract yet the are so far over the hill their nearly at the bottom, Benji like Ricky only hope was to go to a very very strong club. This will probably be the end of the road for Benji, Price will be flicked and a new fresh strong coach will come onboard and find Benji is surplus to requirements
