Naa Manly are the best backline by a long way, then Roosters.. then Storm, possibly we would be 4th but im sure im forgetting some other teams.

I also think people are forgetting we have Nathan Green starting in our backline, its a massive hole that needs filling.

I believe Mata'Utia can force his way into the side with a good performance in the rep game this week and especially if he backs it up the following week for the Cutters........I'm an optimist! Here's hoping

Wendell was gratefull to be given a chance by Browny and the club,hence his now affection.Reckon the Duges also feels the same way and if Marshall does sign reckon he will appreciate the chance to be back.
Good motivation to have when you are given a break and grasp it.

I agree GT0007. I had high hopes that Peter would be our solution at right center but was a bit disapointed with his last two outings with the Cutters.

He seems to have the size and talent to be a nice fit at right center.

I just hope we dont spend too much coin on Benji. It seems to me its a commercial decision by Doust and a clever one as Benji will put some bums on seats for the 1st month at least but if we dont win games that will fade away. If he has signed as reported I really hope he is a raging sucess but I do have concerns about his defense and error rate. On the pro side he can create something from nothing and is very hard to defend against when he's on. I didn't see his last game at centre but he just cant defend well enough with the monsters out there so he should only be considered at 7. Last year we didnt have any halves now this year we have 1 897 303! With the amount of 7's and backrowers we have maybe doust is putting another club together with our spare parts? Hopefully he starts signing big frontrowers for this new franchise he's building!

My other concern besides coin is the length of the contract and how its administered. If Benji's a flop why should we be contributing to his retirement fund? I'm neither for or against Benji but I'm sure we'll all have opinions over the 1st 4 weeks and I hope we are all open minded enough to judge him on his performances and affect on the team

Yeah Possm I was disappointed in his one on one with his opposite number against the Warriors even though the guy was very good on his feet so are alot of centres. I still feel he's a better option than Green and I didnt realise I'd be missing Farrell so much lol. Yeah true, I did see someone on the Dragons FB page say it had been reported on Ch10 though I still doubt its official. If it does happen my feeling is he will provide a spring in our step but only results can keep that going.

I'm enjoying the Goss anyway and my Step son follows the Tigers so will have some family fun with it lol.
