Yeah true, I did see someone on the Dragons FB page say it had been reported on Ch10 though I still doubt its official. If it does happen my feeling is he will provide a spring in our step but only results can keep that going.

I'm enjoying the Goss anyway and my Step son follows the Tigers so will have some family fun with it lol.

Marshall was the reason sheens got sacked so I don't see it happening!

Sheens was the reason why Sheens got sacked.

Benji had free reign of the club and knew he would only get that with Sheens as coach.

Potter putting him on the bench was his way of telling Benji "This is my team, not yours"

Yar hes worth apparently 70k for the rest of this year, I think it was because hes already being paid by Rugby.

But the NRL will impose some sort of value to him to avoid cap manipulation.. though I dont know what that amount will be considering his lack of recent success. Hopefully we can front-load the contract in some way while we have spare dollars.

Mole is just saying getting closer, nothing about a press conference from him. As for Rugby League News, that tweet was from 3 hours ago - they were also saying that the deal could be announced yesterday. I think there'll be nothing official until next Monday or Tuesday.

It's a bit late now but if i was his manager I would have had as part of the exit clause with the Tigers that if he was to return to the NRL it should be to the Tigers at the current market value or otherwise he is free to negotiate with other clubs if the Tigers are not interested. It's really Benji's problem though as if we sign him we are signing him from Union so if the Tigers should be compensated it should not be from us as we didnt enter any deal with them

That's from 3 hours ago, I wouldn't hold my breath for any announcement today - enjoy Friday afternoon. I'd say it'll be confirmed next Monday or Tuesday. They might've reached an agreement, but the NRL might need to approve contract details including third party deals etc anyway.
