A few things... i personally think if we sign benji it will be a plus... he may not be what he used to be... but he is experienced... if opposition focuses to much on widdop... marshall will carve them up... if they focus to much on benji... widdop will carve them up... benji CAN play... and i think he will be back with alot to prove after his last few seasons.
my main concern in all this... is the club knows we need big forwards... i was hoping that something was being done behind the scenes... but hearing we might need to release a player to get benji shows we cant afford to sign no forwards... that is the main thing thats bothering me right now.
that explains alot about the situation the club is in.
oh, and one last thing... hahaha at those blaming the club for not making a play for hoffman from the storm, 1.6 million over 3 years for a 31 year old??? Really??? Its just laughable to even think about critising the club for not making a play for him.
we need forwards, but FRONT ROW FORWARDS not backrowers who can be pushed into the forwards, we got enough of them already.
personally cant wait for this season to end so we can f@ck off the dead wood (harrison groat etc) and hopefully go after forwards that can play!!!
And one last thing... the speculation about thompson being released is bullsh!t... take it as fact he isnt going anywhere anytime soon. The club has high hopes for him, that i can assure u is fact.
Now lets hope our boys smash those f#cking bulldogs....
