Almost through Steven Alder's "My Appetite for Destruction", the original drummer for GNR. Been a great read so far, really well written how his life descended into heroin abuse and spiralled out of control after being sacked from GNR.

Im reading "Mustaine - Metal Memoirs" at the moment....I doubt its even close to being the best autobiography by a musician but if you are a Megadeth fan I guess its worth the read.

Just finished "Life" by Keefy Richards. It's a bloody good (and lucid) read.

You just gotta love Shane.

The best one Ive read was a book called "The Fallen", where the author Dave Simpson tried to track down every (!) ex member of The Fall (which numbers in the dozens) and asks them about their experience about being in his favourite band and their experiences with notorious frontman Mark E. Smith, and simulataneously noting down the effect this undertaking has on his life. Hilarious, sad, and fascinating all at once.

I have recently finished "Is This The Real Life? The Untold History of Queen" - a great read.

I bought the Dave Grohl biography for my wife's birthday... waiting for her to finish reading it so I can do so.
