Cap'n Frenz,

I am so excited I just had to change me undies ... crikey.....

Can we possibly locate a pic of Vince. We need one soon to promote this forthcoming ultimate earth shattering rugby league extravaganza called the Vince Farrer Cup.

Mind you we could unfurl a gigantic Vince Farrer flag on the western and eastern sides of the Captain Cook Bridge. One on the southern end of Tom Uglies, we don't want to put one on the northern side or those stains would steal it and blame it on people of Middle eastern appearance. maybe a humongest vince farrer flag flung from the upper floors of Northies formerly known as the North Cronulla.

Bugger the SFS and Olympic Stadium - let the 2nd rate comp be held there.

I know its a big call and it is a long way off Cap'n but who do you reckon would be the first recipient of the Vince Farrer Medal for best on ground in the inaugural Vince Farrer Cup decider, bearing in mind that Vince Farrer can't be considered for the Vince Farrer Medal. He'd win it for sure.

I reckon that Vince's keen eyes would have someone in mind already as a walk up favorite.

God I'm excited just like you and the late great Big Kev.

Cheers

Look what we missed!!!

Woe is me. Woe is you. Woe are the VF fans everywhere

"THERE are still a few tickets left for the Hull FC 1979 Invincibles re-union dinner on Sunday 23rd October 2005 at the KC Stadium in Hull.
A £35 ticket will allow you to enjoy a reunion with such players as Vince Farrar, Charlie Stone, Steve ‘Knocker’ Norton and Sammy Lloyd. However organiser Roger Waudby is still looking for a couple of players if anyone knows were they are. He has been unable to track down Glyn Turner who it is believed returned to Wales after his stint up north. Mike Stephenson (no that one) who also played for Hull KR is another player being sort.
If anyone does know the whereabouts of the two players could they get in touch with Roger as a matter of urgency. He is contactable on 01482 211198 or 07932 405357 for tickets and information."
