Souths??go back to the start of the season.
which forward pack was talking themselves up
Who is the best pack then?so the best pack in the comp has no depth?
so the best pack in the comp has no depth?
Who is the best pack then?
So which one is your actual question;
Which team has the best pack, or which team has the most forward depth?
It's hard to go past the Dragons for depth and (perhaps hence) consistency.
Michael Greenfield had some pretty good patches for Souths a year or two back and he has struggled to break in even when the Dragons pack was struck with rep duties, injuries and suspensions.
I think the Eels have a great bench this year (even missing Shack), but one more injury and we are scratching around big time.
The Bunnies do have a potent pack, but I doubt that pack as a whole has taken the field in 2010. Ross was always going to be an iffy proposition, but Burgess is the only Rabbitohs forward not to be injured this year (not counting late recruits Jaiman Lowe and Stapleton).
And for the record, I think it was the media that was hyping the Bunnies pack for than them. Bit of a difference.
Heck, the Sharks still have a very handy pack ... and Penrith were going great guns until the bubble seemingly burst. Just about every forward pack in the comp, except maybe the Cowboys, has at least shown glimpses.
The Rabbitohs have the third best go forward in the league following the Titans and Raiders. This is despite the injury toll.yes, because this is the first time in history a side has had injuries :roll::roll:
this thread is about talk being cheap
the souths pack still haven't done anything remotely resembling the best pack in the comp
