I think it beats it comfortably. I don't rate Justice that highly. Even prefer the Black Album - yep, it's sad but true :shock:

The way I judged it is comparing the songs that I absolutely love from both albums.

Leper Messiah

Blackened
One
Frayed Ends of Sanity
To Live is to Die

MOP wins by a point.

MoP IMO is as perfect as an album is going to get... it was their opus.

Ride the Lightning was always my favourite. It's just a little bit more heavier and rough around the edges. MOP is a landmark album though.
