The Saints pack doesnt do it for me, but I must say that I like Dean Young.

He has some tremendous ball skills, he can kick and he has a nice turn of speed.

His style of footballing is futuristic a bit like Priddo a few years ago.

I hope we see more of him in 2008 than we in 2007.

even i have to admit Ron...u know SFA.

To inferno...how sure are u Thommo will be the same player when he comes back?..its no surprise to see ur team struggle without him mid-season. Douglas is still 2 years off being a rep prop and I think Gallen will be foiund out.

Even if he doesn't we still have Reece Williams off the bench who does a great job, albeit without the nice offload thommo has.

Dougy was already selected this year for City/Country although he had to pull out.

in 2 years he will be a SOO rep.

I have no doubt in 2 years he may be...

But people saying next year is a bit unfair on him. He is still very young and learning his trade. Definately a great player with untapped potential...but let the kid work on it at his own place and not place any more undue pressure on him.

TLL is better than SBW.

TLL is a great athlete. But as for being a great footy player, im not convinced.

And he's certainly not any better than SBW when it comes to being 'injury prone' or spending time on the sidelines.

LOL. I'd take Souths pack over Sydney's wannabes and has-beens anyday.

8. Peter Cusack
9. Issac Luke
10. Roy Asotasi
11. David Kidwell
12. David Fa'alogo
13. John Sutton

14. Dean Widders
15. Luke Stuart
16. Manase Manuokafoa
17. Michael Greenfield
18. Scott Geddes
19. Jaiman Lowe
20. Eddy Pettbourne

Quality, variety and depth.
and easy beats - they were terrible at the wrong end of last season. Roostrs pulverised them and so did nearly every team towards the end of the season. In the above pack we have a player who is sponsored by Big Mac - over rated players and would beees if they could be

Kidwell was a massive loss and will add plenty this side.. just ask "The Widest Running Prop Of All Time"

The forwards only lost us 3 games in 2007.

The Bulldogs game where we couldn't match them. Beaten by a better pack.
The Roosters last season game when NO-ONE turned up as we already made the semi's.
The Manly semi-final to their Props credit they beat us cold.

All our other losses were due to geniused playmaking from Smith, Rogers, Williams.

Don't worry Doggies fans- Mason and O'Meley did NOTHING for you upfront last season.
The Storm have proven with great backrowers you only need planks to plug up the middle.
If my side loses Cusack to SL or Asotasi to injury my pack will be decimated.

Brent Kite didn't even play for Manly in the Semi. Sorry to say but you guys will be rooted without Cusak.

I don't think Manly's forwards outplayed us particularly, only that Manly just outplayed us everywhere - fair and square.

Without Cusack our forward pack would be much the same in '08 as in '07. Luke Stuart would do just as good a job and would free room for someone like Pettybourne or Lowe. Now if we lost Asotasi, then we'd be rooted.

LOL. Roosters fans take more pleasure out of dead-rubber wins these days than the English cricket team!

'and so did nearly every team towards the end of the season' - he didn't single out the Roosters.

Oh but you made the semis.. and wasted space. ;-)
