Blues, Rap, Jazz - Hate it all.
Hip Hop - I kinda liked Hey Ya by Outkast. (It's more pop though)

AFAIK, hip-hop is not a musical genre as such, but rather rap is the music of the hip-hop culture (with rap and hip-hop sometimes being used as synonyms).

I care.

Country & Western - Every which way but loose - Eddie Rabbit

I liked the movie better.

As for my favourite song...

It's really impossible to name one. For all I know I haven't even heard it yet, so who knows.

I do love Stairway to Heaven though. That song is one of my all-time favourites. I love November Rain too.

These are songs I like, not best in their genre.

Rap: Everything's Gonna Be Alright - Naughty by Nature
Rock: Below list
Instrumental: For the Love of God - Steve Vai
Reggae: Redemption Song - Bob Marley
Country: Highwayman - The Highwaymen (ie: Cash, Nelson, Jennings and Kristofferson
Dance/Trance : ___________
Acoustic: Upward over the mountain - Iron and Wine (recommend you listen to this guy, he's brilliant)
Indy (sorta): Honey and the Moon - Joseoph Arthur
Rock: Too hard to narrow down, so those below are my choices.
Shine on you Crazy Diamond (Pts 1-5) - Pink Floyd
While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Beatles
Castles in the Sand - Jimi Hendrix
Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd

Now that was gratuitous.

Kaan Kaant - Frenzal Rhomb is my favourite song of all time
Pretty much the entire Coughing Up A Storm and a couple of Dick Sandwich from frenzal rhomb, as well as the first living end album and alot of other living end songs.
Flame Trees, Bow River, Breakfast at Sweethearts, Khe Sahn by Cold Chisel
Generator - Bad Religion as well as numerous Bad religion, Nofx and other songs by punk bands
Fade to Black, One, Master Of Puppets, Whiplash - Metallica
Short Memory - Midnight Oil

I think the greatest 3 songs and some of my favourites of all time are I Am The Walrus, Penny Lane and Elanor Rigby by the Beatles.

I got the 'best of' album of Led Zep today. Kashmir is also high up there, way better than P.Diddy's attempt with that crap 'Come with me'
