Tonight on the footy show the number 3 try of the year went to storm try in the last minute of the game which was off a kick and lucky bounce, so are you saying the footy show has it wrong and just the tigers fans are right?

the storm's try was not a lucky bounce! it was a deliberate chip for the outside men and bounced naturally.

it's not in the same league as the manly fluke!

Who did that put down for Canberra... Was it Schif with the whole body hanging out bar the ball???

The Stewart try was an absolute pearler. As much as it pains you Tigers fans, it was like a thief in the night. He had no right to score that try let alone catch the ball in the wet. Sensational stuff.

David Howell. Definately the most athletic and amazing try this year

As much as the Darren Lockyer Origin try was probably the most "important" try of the year given the circumstances, its not the "best" try of the year if youre talking about brilliance, the moment itself was brilliant for sure (for all QLDers) but the try wasnt that skillful and wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for the worst pass of the season being thrown from dummy half.

My top try of the year would have to be:
Bowen V Knights - individual brilliance when it was needed. Vintage Bowen.

Funny how its only Manly fans calling the try of the year.

Neil Sweeney's try tonight off the back of a great Ashley Graham run was awesome!

Of course the situation can dictate the rating of a try. To pull off that bit of magic with about a minute to go takes more skill than to pull it off after 20 mins.

Stewart's try against the Tigers = Try of the year, easy.

maybe some bias but I reckon Collis's try in the last minutes against the Roosters, Marshall stepped half the team then delivered a flick pass to Collis who went back inside Anasta (not hard to do) then outran Foley to the line. Also I thought Fitzhenry's individual try against the Sharks at Toyota park was one of the best individual tries of the year.

Wes Naiqama tonight vs Roosters

Awesome effort to ground the ball in field

Argee and Amos 1st try up the middle of the ruck wasnt bad either

Inglis and Geyer both scored terrific tries last night!

The benefits of being based in Melbourne - more then capable of taking a 'specky'!
