Not a huge Elvis fan in his younger days, although his voice, especially late in his career, was sublime.

But to me,Nat King Cole is the perfect example of a voice that is as smooth as silk, and as mellow as a fine cognac.

All great - Marvin Gaye another

From the harder rock area, Robert Plant and perhaps moreso Chris Cornell are right up there. Jeff Buckley too

David Bowie.

Actually the studio made him sound better than he was live. Saw him live twice in Sydney.

Best voice??

I'll go out on a limb here and say Mel Blanc.

The voice behind Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Foghorn Leghorn, Miss Prissy, Yosemite Sam, Porky Pig, etc, etc.

The " have you ever bought or rented a video that wasn't quite right" guy.
I thought he must have died when videos died, but then I realised he narrates EVERYTHING on EVERY channel...

Watching the races on TV at work during lunchtime yesterday, they interviewed some jockey after a race who sounded like an NRL front rower instead of a 9yo boy...was hilarious

A Tongan jockey? Bloody hell, must be a struggle for him to make weight...
