Call of Duty series is awesome fun.

really sort of depnends on what sort of game your after but COD4 is probably the best I've played, though for some reason I prefer to play gears of war 2 despite it's issues online. Left for dead is apparently great. I also like team fortress 2 though it doesn't have a great user base on live.

I also venture into sport, the Tiger Woods series, FIFA and Madden series are all pretty sweet online.

GTA IV heaps of game modes
SCENE IT BOX OFFICE SMASH just got this also a lot of fun online
FIGHT NIGHT 3 good fight fun, and theres still heaps of people playing even though it was a launch title, i dont think it feels dated
