When I eat at a Chinky,I go to those that know how to do it best and that is in China-Town in Sydney.

The best way around to finding the best is to try out all of the available ones that are located in and around China-Town as it is the best and most fun way and remember, you'll have to go a long way to find a bad one.

The rule is that there are only those that are better than others.

But because you live on the Nth Shore,I recommend you seek out Crows Nest were there is an abundance of Chinese Restaurants.

C'mon Liddell don't be shy. They've been named and shamed by the Government inspectors plenty of times - in fact they were mentioned in the paper just this week.

I've eaten there and wasn't too fussed. St George Leagues goes alright.

Yeah i saw one the other week, something about chicken stored on the loading dock.

From what i saw on the bottom level where their storage is, i'd rather they kept it on the dock.

Imperial Peking.

979 King Georges Rd, Blakehurst.

This place is the best Yum Cha I have ever been too.

Chicken's feet are a must.

Then Mango and cream pancakes after.

=P~ Thinking about it now.

St George Leagues is my best, tho the one at Tigers Club flemington Markets is pretty ok for the price. Phoenix at Rhodes is very popular but I prefer Saints to it, the food tastes very fresh and clean.

I went to Marigold with a bunch of people from work for lunch.

Always packed and really good quality.

St george leagues i thought was surprisingly good.

I've eaten alot of yum cha around sydney (bit of an addict) and I honestly thought Sunny harbour was one of the best I've eaten with St George leagues not being far behind.

Granted I don't want to know about their sanitary issues, i haven't gotten sick so whatever.

One place that's really good, It's not proper yum cha but they do a yum cha-ish meal deal is seven lanterns that just opened up next to pauls famous hamburgers in sylvania.

Seriously the best food I have eaten in a very very long time! The owner is a champ too! Only been opened a few moths and i reckon i've been there 6 times.

There's a decent one on Willoughby Road near the Westpac. The Joint on the food court floor of the Mandarin Centre in Chatswood is always packed with Chinese people and is pretty decent.

Best Yum Cha I've had was a random joint I found in Fanling, which is right near the Shenzhen border of Hong Kong. I lost my passport on the Hong Kong side of Lo Wu (Thank Christ it wasn't the Chinese side) in the middle of the night, met my friends in Kowloon, got absolutely sauced until the barman had the bright idea that I should perhaps go to the police station to see if it had been handed in:lol:. It was at a Police station in the middle of nowhere (Sheng Shui/Fanling), we were f**king hungry and we just stumbled on this place half pissed. Shrimp Dumplings and Pork Buns to die for!!

I currently work across the road from a 24 hour Cantonese restaurant! At least twice a week. No pork buns however :(

I am not a big fan of Yum Cha so I haven't been to many. I prefer ordering dishes that come out fresh rather than little bits and pieces that have been getting pushed around on trolleys.

In saying that, Crown Dragon at St George Leagues is really good Chinese food (Yum Cha also).

Not a fan of Imperial Peking. Overpriced and quality is not that great.

There's a really good one in Dixon (Canberra) that I can't remember the name of. Skeepe, any help?

There's also a really good near the Manly Ferry depot.

But yeah, probably China Town (Sydney).

I lovee yum cha.

For Brisbane people. These are the places I like.

Landmark (Sunnybank): This place is very busy and very loud. Honestly feels like you are in China. Very real. Good atmosphere. Probably the best from the ones in Sunnybank, but also the longest wait.

Beijing House (Queen St Mall): This one is neat. Very nice staff. Good looking ones too. My Favorite

Hong Kong Cuisine (Ipswich): Good lunch specials.

The Manor (Eight mile Plains): Hidden. Open late

King of Kings (Valley): Pretty good also
