How is RRP ripping people off? FMD

Umm, because the RRP is, in many case, a rip off?

whether it's a piece of NRL supporter gear, cricket or soccer, supporter gear is expensive to buy. especially when you're buying that polyester sh*t

If that's the case, why is Wynn's charging basically the same price for everything as per Mark's earlier post? Please don't tell me you think Wynn is a rip off merchant now?

RRP for sports supporter gear is a rip off.

Whether it's Wynn charging. Rebel or B+G Army store, its not value for money IMO.

A jersey is how much? $160? Please. Don't tell me thats value for money.

I reckon the rrp would be set at whatever price they think they can get away with. If you want the jersey then you have no choice but to pay $160. Would be interesting to know how much they cost to make.

meh - just wait until the end of the season when all the prices come crashing down and you can grab yourselves some really nice stuff at far more affordable prices.
parra rebel are still desperatly trying to move last years jersey for $50. the collar is different, and the sleeve and back sponsors have changed, but it still looks like a parra jersey with the badges and the pirtek sponsors, and you can pick up 3 of them for the price of a new one.

My point was that it is not a rip off in relation to Wynn's, which is what half of this thread was about. There is no way the BGA store is going to get into a price war with them anyway. They could never win (pardon the pun) ;-)

Popped into the B&G Army store today. has alot of potential, especially on game day.

Picked up a copy of the bulldogs semi game. Every supporter should own this game.

The new Heritage jersey looks freakin sweet as. The lady behind the desk said we will be wearing a few more times other than heritage round. Oh yeah!!

I was in the B&G store yesterday, and the heritage jersey is awesome. Was talking to the guy in there and he said that a lot more stock is arriving soon including a welcome back Tahu shirt, and a truckers cap designed by Hindmarsh. I exited through the football office because it was pissing down with rain, and bumped into Daniel Mortimer on the way out

Probably signing a contract extension.
