Jimbo i think the sharks are the ones with the image problem..they are akin to an anorexic chick looking at themselves in the mirror, they see one thing but in reality it is totally different to the real world.Cases in point..1.they manufacture a group of "immortals" to try and give themselvs a history to which they definately don't, having achieved and contributing NOTHING to the game of rugby league.2.they change their jersey, symbols, name and patterns on a whim to try and find the right "image".3.They destroy any semblance of an image as a club by getting rid of a stalwart and champion of a coach to get a known troublemaker coach to get ,dare i say it, get THE WINNING CULTURE!!4.they begged cap in hand when the chips were down to the then NSWRL to help save them from the million odd dollar debt they were once in only to slap them in the face and run off to super league to try and get out of big brother's shadow.
No Jimbo i have made a mistake the sharks don't have an image problem they just don't have an image at all.

Interesting that Jimbo thinks the Bulldogs are greener pastures. Strange mob to look up to.

It's not so much my opinion you should be worried about mate. It's a potential sponsor, with hard currency. At the end of the day, there's something out there that has cost your club money.

But everything will turn out okay, won't it?

You make so many posts in here and its hard not be touch by your concern.

Saints will have a sponsor, so don't lose any sleep over it jimboy.

But please... tell me why Canterbury are greener pastures. :?:
You sure know how to pick 'em.

Bulldogs... greener pastures...?

I guess it's because they're f*cking their club so much more efficiently than the Sharks have been able to.

:p

Another clever and caring statement from our reisdent harbinger.
I can but imagine what you're like when some real news happens to Saints.

But you didnt address the question. How did you come to the conclusion that Canterbury are greener pastures?

Not my words. The sponsor's. If they thought you guys were a better option, they would have gone for you.

Come on Willow, even you can figure that out...

What words?
Where has this sponsor said they were moving to "greener pastures"?
Your words I believe?

Jimbo you're a tool amongst tools. 'Better option' my teste. They've got a new plant in Chullora, which is an area (literally) crawling with Bulldog fans. The company is simply attempting to build goodwill in that area. If the Bulldogs weren't there, they'd probably sponsor the Razorbacks or something.
Besides meddling in business that doesn't concern you, you've also drawn a very very long bow. You better just go back to the reeking swamp you call home.

Jimbo,

The Dragons have had three major sponsors in over 25 years, which shows you how valuable sponsors hold their association with us.

In that time, The Scum have gone through plenty of "Blue Chip" (LMAO) sponsors like Powers Bitter, Systems 2000 (??) etc.

I'm all for Saints taking a wait-and-see approach to getting a major sponsor. We don't need to whore off our major sponsorship to the first bidder & end up like the Wastes Tigers or Souths. We have enogh cash to be able to pick & choose.

As for the potential Lysaught sponsorship, I don't think they were ever going to be our major sponsor & we already have a long term assosciation with St George Bank - who may well come on board as our MS if the whispers are correct.

Cheers,
Ben S.

Jimboy, you've misquoted the article. Can't be clearer that.

I keep forgetting that its useless trying to point out the obvious to meandering trolls like yourself. You offer nothing to this discussion.
No doubt you've got a rock to hide under whenever your quotes come back to haunt you. I should imagine it gets a good work out.

Hehe I read that article in one of the papers this morning and had a little chuckle.

Wrong again Jimbo. It must take a lot of effort to appear so stupid.

The space on our shorts has been snapped up (for the third year in a row) by the highly reputable clothing company Hard Yakka. As for our sleeves, a lucrative deal is expected to be announced this week, which, if the rumours are true, will (once again) be the envy of the league.
