Yeah I'm sure you never worry about anything less important than rape, disease, famine, poverty or war.

I agree they are taken way too seriously but I hate when that reason is used. Everyone worries about (relatively) trivial things.
I'm more sick of the media attention on them really, although I hate media attention on all celebrities.

I don't worry about less trivial matters when it comes to North American pop stars let me tell you that.

The whole thing with her lately has been trying to shed her teen singer status with outrageous sexual behaviour.

I'd say Lady Gaga is more like Madonna. Madonna wasn't a child star. The whole controversy about Cyrus is that she once acted like this innocent child/teen role model and now is acting like an idiot to gain attention/stay relevant in the mainstream music industry.

She is talented, she has an unusual voice and her songs have been original (compared to everyone else producing music, with the exception of Beyonce) credit where it is due.

Gaga isn't anything like Madonna, she tries very hard to be like her but really...she's more like Prince or maybe Grace Jones.
