Yep Carters is a horrendous T20 player. One swing in a 40 ball innings and skies it. Sixers are the new Thunder.

Sixers recruitment is incredibly poor. They've assembled an absolutely woeful side when they are probably so many good players out there available and unsigned.

To be fair, ten days ago they'd have been expecting Haddin, Henriques and O'Keefe to be in this XI.

Their batting was thin last season, and now with Haddin and Henriques on the sidelines it is badly exposed. When Botha (a bowler who can bat a bit) is coming in at 5 it says a lot. That said, I will never know why they thought Botha would be worth bringing in as an international. Surely a specialist batsman would have been a better call.

Haddin and Henriques are proper T20 batsmen. Put them in the top 6 and they look significantly better.

Botha is a proven all-round player in T20. I think he's fine at 7. He played plenty of decent knocks for the Strikers in his time there.

Haddin I'll pay, but with Henriques it's another example of what I said. You need quality specialist batsmen, whilst Henriques is a good T20 all rounder he doesn't make up for where they are lacking.
