Joe Burns cost us the game when he dropped Short on 60 or so, noone else in that Hobart team looked like going on with it, different between 180 and 150 right there

McCullum stuffed this up as well, should have batted first

He even said it was an 180 deck, so why not get the runs first. Always extra pressure chasing

Can't argue with that. They say catches win matches, dropped catches lose them.
Drops have cost them two games now.

You are absolutely kidding

That is the worst decision I've ever seen. I'm not even exaggerating. It's literally the worst decision I've ever seen.

That's an absolute joke

The ball was never going anywhere near the stumps.
Him making contact actually directed the ball towards the stumps.

Some of these BBL decisions show the different between international level umpires and the halfwits we have at domestic level, that is atrocious, f**k me

This.
BBL umpires in past seasons have set an extremely low bar. But this season's umpiring effort has been beyond woeful from all.

He was actually trying to evade it, not only did he duck but the trajectory of his running proves the only thing he wanted to do was avoid the ball, he wasn't even watching ffs, these clowns would be better suited in the NRL bunker

I don't agree with the decision but why did Ross run inwards? If he runs straight chances are it hits him and saves a direct hit.

Still a poor decision.

I have watched, played and coached cricket for 30+ years and have never seen anything as appalling as that decision on Ross.

I was also of the impression a wicket keeper had to wear his gloves. Hmmm..

Ross ducked to avoid the ball ffs. If he wanted to obstruct the field he wouldn't have ducked. Disgraceful decision
And he would have run between the fielder and the stumps.
He actually got out of the way and ended up on the other side of the stumps.
