They were doing that on Twitter earlier in the season. Also offering some other deals for Blatchy's Blues and stuff to sell more tickets. Pretty good marketing if you ask me.

For all QLD's hooting and hollering NSW has still outsold QLD in SOO every single year when origin comes around.

Be interesting to see how QLD would fair with an 82,000 seat stadium to fill under similar circumstances

Among the dumbest comments I've ever read on these forums... Firstly, what are you basing this on? Second, we will never know as we are limited to 52k, but we are always able to sell 105,000 tickets in a matter of hours, where as you guys often struggle to break 70,000 even when it's your only origin for the year.

1) Standard "offer" where you buy a blatchy's blues ticket and get wig/shirt
2) BB's can get in early at 4:30 and enjoy the early bar.etc.
3) TripleMMM are giving away two ticket's Monday morning.

Other then that just keep posted on Twitter and Facebook.

The 2 for 1 would've been good as I could've brought friends who are causal viewers to experience the pinnacle of NRL. Hopefully they use it for future events.

If you go to the tick website and go the SOO page you can apply to receive a notification again if the offer goes back up again. I'm signed up as well in-case they bring the offer towards the end of the week to quickly sell tickets off.

Otherwise $60 is the cheapest for Blatchy's Blues.

In the days of the 40,000 capacity Lang Park:

1999, Game 1 - 38,000
2000, Game 2 - 38,000 (single game in QLD that year)
2001, Game 1 - 38,000

Since the redevelopment was finished in 2003 sell outs with just a couple hundred under capacity showing up have been the norm.

Even then we've sold out every Suncorp game within the decade.
