Soundgarden did sideshows last year didn't they?

other then that, just waiting for the Soundwave line up, gotta be better than this crap

don't count on the soundwave lineup being much chop. Have you done any googling on it? the rumoured bands so far don't hold a candle to last year.

Have a read through here:

Not looking like a good summer for festivals really

Big Day Out has never been that good. I went in 2002 for an almost 2 hour NOFX show where they played pretty much everything. 2004 was decent for the aussie bands (TLE, Frenzal, 28 Days) and Millencolin was there. but besides that its sucked for the most part.

all crap except for Primus so now I have to go and I've already forked out for SW tickets

only interested in Primus and Pearl Jam so I'd pay $180 to see those two

has anyone ever done the Big Boss thingy ? and is it worth it ?

apparently this year you have access to a lounge beside the stage to get an up close and personal view of the bands

You shouldnt be too hard to spot in amongst the 20 year old roid munchers with their singlets tucked into their back pockets. I will say hello when I see you.

Primus, Mudhoney, Pearl Jam & Vista Chino that's pretty decent but with exception of PJ I recon they'll all do a sideshow so I might not worry about getting a BDO ticket.

God dammit.

Everytime I see the line-up it just keeps appealing more and more to me.

Sadly, don't think I'll have the funds and everyone I know is committed to other festivals. Only a small sample size are heading to the BDO and they're all separate friends.

f**kin shits me that aj is now on the bdo team, it means that Soundwave is only going to get more and more diluted as he tries to pull big metal acts for both.

Deftones should bloody be on the Soundwave line up. f**k you AJ.

When did AJ get on the BDO? Thought he hated it?

Beady Eye might be worth seeing too if they bust out some Oasis tunes.
