Chimp - it is all part of our hard fought democratic rights and the term originates from the very heart of our society as we know it today. Our Parliament.

I think Morris is out of his depth with a head coaching role. I'm not bagging the bloke but some blokes either make good coaches or they don't(e.g. Barrett). There is more to coaching than setting training drills during the week. He had an Under 20's team that most teams couldn't beat and they went out the back door in the finals a couple of years back.

I'm not too fussed about getting Flanno back or not although I favour having him than not having him.

I've always been a fan of Toovey and I just think he is way to good of a coach to be unemployed. The thing that pissed me off with Morris was watching the boys warm up at Brooky in a semi final doing flick balls thinking they already had the game won. A respected coach wouldn't have allowed that.

Thats what I was getting at last week, was it Morris, or was it the teams with so many good players in it.

Don’t worry, he will be fine after Nathan brown comes as his assistant.

It's a Sharks thing to do in putting Morris as coach. Doesn't cost much, came through coaching ranks, knows players, rubbed up the right people, easiest option.
That's how the club was run pre Flanno and seems to of gotten back on that path

Pre Flanno? Or during Flanno’s forced stay out of the game?

They got Flanno internally.

Before Flanno they got Ricky (external), Stuart Raper- (external but you could argue internal based on his previous coaching at the club), Chris Anderson (external), John Lang (external), Beetson (external? I don't think he was with the club prior???)

I think he's referring to the Peter Sharp/James Shepherd year, 2014. Which was in fact during the Flanno years, not pre.

Two years on the road, coaching getting chatted about in the offseason. Working out who we are going to off load or try to off load. Wondering if we will ever get our combinations working. Can we fix up all the hammys?

Thank the footy gods that there are a lot more shit clubs actually worse than us at the moment.

Toddy and his Channel Nein mates would love nothing better than seeing the Sharks down near the bottom and vunerable.

Call me a cynic, call me a quigs, call me anything youse like, but be ferharrkked if I would trust the clowns running the NRL circus as far as I could throw them when it comes to the mighties.

I hear you snoop.

Morris disappointed me this season. We continually made the same errors, lost our games the same way, same poor bench rotation. We just didn’t learn all season.

The biggest thing we lacked this season for me, was energy. We just never seemed to really give a shit. Continually went through the motions and expected it rather then fought for it.

Yep, it seems a bit like the inmates are running the asylum. Not sure if Gallen retiring will help with this or not. Time will tell. If he doesn’t pull the ego’s in line and stamp his authority though, it’ll be all over as quick as it began for him.
