yeah, Mole on Twitter is saying it's close as well. Not being a smart***, but his name is Epalahame Lauaki ( can't wait to see the banners for him )

Like a few others on here, I think he's just a depth signing. Hopefully he and / or Cooper turn out like some of the bargain forwards the Storm & Sea Eagles have signed over the last few years.

I am the Mongol of Mongrel in this forum and I give this signing four stars. There are no fabulous props left to sign but at least this guy shows we are looking at a weakness in our pack and strengthening it. When we run out against a pack of a million Burgess brothers and sisters (we all know Sam is a fudge packer and a squirrel grabber) I want someone to tear new arseholes out there. Epalahame Lauaki is that man. Hats off Doustie. I hate your guts but I like this signing. Maximum respect - for now...

this guy could surprise actually - i have seen a bit of him for the warriors (wigan and Auckland). he can offer real impact off the interchange bench. A big unit and surprisingly mobile for his size, can add real value with short bursts off the bench against a tired defence.

could add that impact missing from our bench, and from guys like plodder ah mau and Dan hunt..
we would have picked him up cheap.

lol dude you baffle me sometimes.

Lauaki hasn't played NRL in 6 years, and last year he only played 6 games for Wigan, 5 of them off the bench!

Ah Mau is twice the player. Lauaki is depth at best.

I think we're all going to be a bit disappointed. He's Mickey Paea (or however it's spelled) level at best and he's being added to an already weak forward roster.

Atleast all this depth will foster an environment at the Dragons where nobody's position is guaranteed (The Duges aside obviously), some of the issues we had in 2013 was a lack of depth in the Cutters line-up, meaning we stuck with certain players for too long in 1st grade... and Price wasnt willing to take punts on kids.

Having said that... Price still has to prove he can effectively motivate and select players in their best positions, I dont have a lot of faith in him, but he is playing with a full deck now, its all in his hands.
