It began with Canberra and certain Broncos haters talking down Milford as overrated and overpaid back when we first signed him, then it evolved into Milfood when he was adapting to his new training regime, then it was he wasn't up to it as a 5/8th, he would be nothing but a turnstile in defence and now at the end he's the form 5/8th in the comp and Canberra are still the victims because they can't compete with Brisbane in the salary cap market because of....Reasons.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe he didn't go necessarily because of the money? Maybe him and his agent saw what is well evident now, that Brisbane are on the rise and favourites for the Premiership way earlier than anyone would ever thought while Canberra will finish next week in 10th place or lower.

Milford whilst hes been good for a few months now, was doing that for canberra week in week out. Brisbanes training regime has helped his career no doubt just as any clubs training would have helped his career along.
It has and always will be about money. Milford didnt turn down 750k to play for the broncos, he just got it through other sources and then some.
You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. Enjoy the good performances the broncos are displaying, but at least have the 3 brain cells required to understand the even playing field isnt so even with TPP's the way they are and clubs with payments that just can not and have not been explained.
