This thread is a load of crap. Austin has been Canberra's best, Milford has been great for the Broncos and Moses has come alive over the last five rounds. There are at least 100 worse footballers playing regular NRL than all three of them.

Bit light in props IMO but I agree. Knowing the raiders though in game 1 Austin breaks his leg, Hodgson gets arrested at half time for running an underground fight club, sezer walks out the stadium after meeting skeepe and wighton gets on the cruisers at full time.

Hodgson is becoming the most overrated, he's good. Real good.

Not as good as he's made out to be though.

Maybe he is, but as you say, he's real good and we've suffered through 5 f**king years with Glenn f**king Buttriss as our first choice #9. Buttriss to Hodgson is like upgrading from Sam Obst to Mitchell Pearce

The best thing to happen to the Raiders was Milford not agreeing to stay. Would have taken up.to much cap space. They are probably paying their entire spine what they offered Milford alone.

pretty much, as i said, we could have Milford for 1 million, or use that 1 million for Hodgson, Austin and Sezer. I know which one i'd rather, even taking into account that Milford might one day be the best player in the game.

The annoying thing is that regardless of what canberra do with their salary cap

the 1 mil offer to milf is trumped by the 1.1 offered by brisbane

sad thing is they only put 350 in the salary cap and then theres 750 of andrew gee money flowing to him.

Rugby League would be a far far better game if TPA's were not allowed to be negotiated during the a trade window.

As it stands you have clubs with effective salary caps of 10m and others running at 6m

Its why I wouldnt mind nqld / sharks or someone like that doing quite well because you know there salary cap isnt as full of shit as other clubs.

It began with Canberra and certain Broncos haters talking down Milford as overrated and overpaid back when we first signed him, then it evolved into Milfood when he was adapting to his new training regime, then it was he wasn't up to it as a 5/8th, he would be nothing but a turnstile in defence and now at the end he's the form 5/8th in the comp and Canberra are still the victims because they can't compete with Brisbane in the salary cap market because of....Reasons.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe he didn't go necessarily because of the money? Maybe him and his agent saw what is well evident now, that Brisbane are on the rise and favourites for the Premiership way earlier than anyone would ever thought while Canberra will finish next week in 10th place or lower.

I remember one of them said Milford would struggle to ever reach Austins level :lol:. Should of just enjoyed what Austin is doing without this silly thread.
