Great to see loyalty still exists in the game.

Hope we can find a way to keep both @ the club. Blayke seems to be the favoured one though.

I’ve always thought Jayden was a special player with solid defence & accurate passing but many have criticised him. This year he’s shown another element to his game with his running.

I have a feeling they have a plan in place.
Frenzy mentioned about having a player like Radley from the Roosters, or B. Smith from The Storm, a hooker who can play back row (or vice versa)
It is a trend in the NRL at the moment, and when the top two teams are doing it others follow. That would be J. Brailey.
I've seen B. Brailey has sometimes been in the halves position, and even though its been short stints, he didnt look out of place.
Maybe they have a plan to have B1 and B2 both be the hookers and as a back up backrow and half.

The downside of JayBrai playing lock is his size. He isn’t in the same mould as B Smith, Victor the Inflictor or Cam Murray. None of them are much bigger but they play differently. All are tackle breakers and all can belt blokes. JayBrai has not shown he has that in his game. He’s a real worker bee but he’s an out and our hooker. A small one at that. sharks.com.au has him at only 88 kegs. Murray and Radley are only 90 & 92 respectively but they have way different body shapes.

Want a ball playing, tackle breaking lock who can belt charnts.

Nikora in a few years can be the modern lock.

I think calling for JaiBrai at lock is just a desperate way to fit both he and his bro in the same team.

Gallen is the current lock.

Williams will come on for him.

Can’t believe we don’t have Nikora already signed up.

He’s not managed by the Orr brothers by any chance?

If so we are farked.

Also if Uele keeps up his impressive form from the bench he’ll be attracting big interest too. Young props who bend the line are always on a Club’s radar and you can never have enough of them.

J.Brailey has another 18 months to bulk up somewhat for backrower position, he has played just over 50 FG games, he would be ideal in our 17, cover backrow, hooker and might even cover halves at a pinch, we have seen his game develop under Morris this year already more running, and his tackling is great, lets see how under another year what happens

That's all well and good but he wants to be a starting 9.

The dream of playing with his brother isn't for the rest of their careers. That novelty will wear off and they'll both aim to be starting 9's.

So one will go

I think the club has managed this tricky family situation really well.

Blayke will be the better player in the medium & long term - and this lets him build up his stamina & physique so he's our full time hooker in 2021 - when Jayden will head to another club with our best wishes.

I can't see Jayden as a ball-playing lock, he ain't no Cameron Murray.
