Retirees on the Northern Beaches are too busy checking out their hedge funds and buying vintage grange to invest in the Manly Leagues club. I'd love it if the white trash stayed in Manly once they hit their 50's instead of flogging their houses and moving out west or up the coast, then we'd be able to moan about clubs stealing players we plucked off of farms in Country NSW and the Suburbs of South Auckland when they showed some potential at age 7.

Hey, guys and girls. Just popping in to refresh the info.

Now, from the reports I'm getting, Mateo is holding talks with the Eels and is keen to stay. He will probably re-sign with the Eels.

As for Green, his preference is to stay at Parramatta - ideally, he said he wants to be an Eel for life.

However, the kid also (rightfully) wants a starting gig, and with Finch at 5/8 for us and Smith at halfback, we may not be able to offer him a starting role.

So...Yeah. The saga continues lol.

And I'm looking forward to a fantastic match on Friday!

Can't see him getting a starting spot at Manly either though. So that won't be the incentive for him to head here.

Can. Not. Wait. For the Eels clash this Friday.

.....pumped.

No doubt about that. Was talking about Green.

Given that Mateo is a regular for the Eels top 17 now, I can't see him leaving.

Not wrong.

Wonder how he went in PL yesterday though. The team was convincingly beaten and I haven't heard any reports.

Sorry Kids ...

feleti has just announced that he will be staying with Parra for 2008, 2009 & 2010.

Looks like Dessie's quest to buy a premiership is not going to plan.

He's a good player who makes some good busts, but seems a bit lazy around the ruck in defense.
If Beaver makes a good recovery we probably wouldn't have had much use for him anyway. Choc/Stewy/Beaver are all 80 minute players.

Please. You guys spend the same amount as us, difference being that we get the good guys, whereas you guys get the duds.
Manly - Kite, Lyon, Bell, Orford, Kennedy.
Parramatta - Riddell, Finch, Ian Hindmarsh, Todd Lowrie, Tahu.

Yeah Orford is worth $500,000 a year lol he can't even make Origin.

Apart from Finch & Lowrie the other 3 have been great for us.
