I was speaking with Blake Lazarus on twitter & he has offered to play halfback for the Tigers for free this year.

Thoughts?

At least Teflon wouldn't be there to stuff him about. If he is serious it should be accepted but with a proviso selections are up to the coach. Another squad member in this key position where we are out of options can only be good.

I agree. Playing for free & essentially for a contract could see him play with nothing to lose.

He's more committed already than a few current players.

When I look back over our halves through the years Benji & Robbie sabotaged and ignored to help out mates like Tim Moltzen it makes me sick.

Benji is a non factor in the NRL right now and as much as I love his efforts Potter needs to really lay the law down with Farah because he is hurting our game through wanting to do it all and has for years.

The same thing is happening this year in many regards. When have you seen either of the two senior playmakers deliver clear ball for Simona or even Bodene? You haven't because if the new guy looks good then "brother forever" Chris Lawrence might not get a look in.

It may seen cynical I know but this shit has been going on for years in our little boys club of a football side

Yep,they have over ridden and over played several youngsters who have come and gone just as quickly from the team.WT need a new structure and direction to rise from the s**t we are in now, dividing and conquering the Farah-Marshall is a must for this to happen.

I don't think Farah & Marshall are united like that. Benji starves his halves partner, farah wants to win & will happily adapt to a new structure if required

...and thats exactly how it looks now, like an u/10s team with 4 or 5 main players doing everything - not including their mates...while the rest of the quieter players make up the numbers

If the word around the traps is true Robbie is the reason Miller is as good as gone.

Punch up at training and Farah chucking a wobbly

Has any consistently good team actually bought a player from the Tigers in years as a starting 17 player? Trying to think of anyone past Teo to Brisbane.

The fact he's not up to it Gronk doesn't play a part?

Brooks is the future, some of you need to get over Miller

He's off to Ingurland, that means 15 other clubs aren't interested in him either...

I think the fact is we didnt give him a go...4 games with a new coach many love to ignore

Great to see we're putting all our eggs into brooksys basket, hope his fragile legs hold up...thats if he cuts it.

Farah and Marshall have been the main players in driving our team around the park for ages. All things come to an end sooner or later for various reasons.MU is right in saying that Farah can adapt to change, whilst Benji on the other hand,i doubt anything will ever change with his style of play.Farah and Anasta i believe would be more helpful for our young players development in the top grade than Benji's input.

Someone on WTF pointed out 2-2 with him, diabolical since for the most part apart from the first hour down here. Is a fair point.

Been injured this year has he?

St George were interested but recruited elsewhere when we wouldn't release him

We're comparing Jacob to a proven premiership player? Mind you, he'll turn out to be massively over rated once he doesn't have Cronk, Smith and Slater around him.
