I feel Green Day are a tad overated mainly because i dont think they have evolved as much as most other bands do... I personally dont think there is much difference between any of their albums and all their songs have the same grungy feel to it besides the acoustic songs ofcourse.
But if you listen to say Blink 182's 'Enema of the State' and then listen to their self titled album you would notice a huge difference between them both musically and lyrically.

Blink for mine BUT ONLY for when they finally dropped the deadwood & got around to +44. Green Day just do nothing for me. But then again recyling never did...

And the first person to mention Angels & Airwaves (including I-Empire) gets a crossbow in the left ear. Yes the whole crossbow, the arrow will already be lodged in their medulla oblongata... :lol:

Lyrics are mostly totally unimportant to me.. They could be singing about the greatness of John Howard for all i care to be honest...
