I love how Arsenal come out of this smelling roses when they were in with some awful tackles during the match that had our players hurdling double leg challenges with plenty of intent.

As for Ade paying the price for supporters inability to get as good as they give. What a joke. All he did was slide on his knees, yet they can call him whatever they want, boo him, make racial slurs about him and his family and its okay.

As for the stewards...well they are payed to be there to control the crowd. Again it is not Ade's responsibility to control each spectator in thr ground.

Arsenal fans are just crying because 5 games in and they are already six points of the pointy end of the comp. They know they need to pick up points against United, and to a lesser degree City to win the title and they failed.

Of all the things i've heard said about Ade from arsenal fans, read on forums and heard them singing about him I'm surprised all he did was run 90 metres.

What did he do that was so bad? He slid on his knees and showed the Arsenal fans that they're taunts could not bring him down.

In theory I agree with you.

But what pisses me off about it is (like I said in the Arsenal thread) that Gary Neville got suspended for two games for celebrating in front of the Liverpool supporters a couple of seasons ago, giving it back to them after the abuse he got during the game. If anything it was less intense than what Adebayor did as he didn't run the length of the pitch to do it. But as far as I know no player before that and no player since then has recieved the same punishment. One of a number of occasions where a Utd player has been punished far more than others who have done the same thing (Evra and Ferdinand instantly jump to mind as well). Consistency seems to be too much to ask for.

Anyways, I'm hoping Tevez starts against us tomorrow night. Somehow he seems to expect the Utd fans to give him a good reception despite the rubbish he was saying about Fergie, so it'll be a good laugh to hear the abuse he gets.

I'd wish you guys good luck for the match...but obviously I wouldn't mean it. :lol:
