To City Fans, well played. I for one don't begrudge your success and am happy to see you rock up the establishment. That was a awesome performance. I thought Adebayor was sensational, in both attack and defense. Made so many great headers in defense, not to mention the goal he scored. Arsenal fans once again disgraced themselves after Ade played up to them following his goal.

How about that run he made in about the 77th minute were he basically dribbled through the entire Arsenal team and teed it up for SWP, who unfortunately missed. Awesome stuff.

It is one sexy kit...

Isn't that taking the United envy a step too far? Looks like the away kits United wore in the 70s. ;-)

Great win last night. I despise no team more than the Arseholes, and I think they might be hurting just a bit after all the early season hype with two trips to Manchester for two losses (and two own goals to boot).

OK so you guys might love him now, but its only a matter of time before this sulking twat gets it into his head that he's bigger than your club too and starts trying to whore himself off to Milan or Real again.

Man Utd never wore an away kit like that... its an awesome and quite unique strip

have to admit, home and away kits for citeh are probably the best ive seen in the premier league in a long time..

but i think ade might be in a bit of trouble with the v.persie incident.. looked a bit intentional

I still don't understand what was so wrong with the celebration. Fans are allowed to give as much sh*t as they want to players, saying horrible things about them or their families, but when players decide to bite back, we get all precious. If your prepared to give it you shouldn't moan if we get some back.

As I said before i loved Ade's reaction and its a pity Arsenal fans at the ground reacted in the scummy way that they did.

Fans arent getting payed 200 000 pounds a week to be professionals

If he'd scored up the Arsenal end and done it it would not have been much of an issue, it was running 90 metres to incite the crowd that was the prickish thing.

Anyway, looks like he'll get 3 weeks for his attack on van persie

So we expect Adebayor to act like a robot, despite all the emotion that he was no doubt going through before and during the game? The guy did something that even he himself admits wasn't the smartest thing to do, but his emotions got the better of him. Yet all the blame seems to fall on Ade, rather than the Arsenal fans who acted like thugs at the ground.

If he is suspended for his hack at RVP, then fair enough, i have no problem with that, although people seem to forget what RVP was trying to do right before Ade retaliated. If Adebayor doesn't jump over Van Persie's swiping foot, he could have suffered a serious injury.

Dickhead, find the highlights and look at Van Persie running to the corner about ten feet away from the City fans and yelling f**k OFF, violently, twice. It was no worse than Ade's celebration (who didn't say a word).

Now defend his stomp.

hahah you sook.

Of all the things i've heard said about Ade from arsenal fans, read on forums and heard them singing about him I'm surprised all he did was run 90 metres.

What did he do that was so bad? He slid on his knees and showed the Arsenal fans that they're taunts could not bring him down.

As for kicking V.Persie in the face...well if he wasnt going around sliding in with both feet trying to kill people all day maybe he wouldnt end up with his face headbutting someones shoe.

I think the main problem with his celebration and incitement which everyone is ignoring is the way it put peoples safety at risk - namely the stewards who have reacted angrily to Ades antics.

They had to hold back a bunch of very aggressive Arsenal fans frothing at the mouth and although a minor injury was reported things could have been alot worse. Now before all you City fans get all hardcore and tell us they should just deal with it, the fact is it was irresponsible and could have been easily avoided.

And how could it have been avoided? By not runnning 100m to celebrate a goal.

So Arsenal fans shouldn't be blamed for their thug like behaviour? It kills me how precious fans can get. It's fine to give as much sh*t as you want to a player, but when they decide to give a little back, it's ok act like bitches. FMD its not like Adebayor did a Cantona and kicked the sh*t out of a fan. All Ade wanted to do was run over and send a little "f**k you" to all the Arsenal fans. Pity Arsenal fans had to spoil the moment.

Hmmm, i dont think you understand the dynmics involved in European football crowds. Its not quite like Souths v St George...

The 'thug' like behaviour is part and parcel of the hardcore fan base over in Europe. So Adebayor should have known the crowds reaction was inevitable. Just as it would have been any other club given his acriminous exit.

I'm confused, whenever Italian crowds f**k up, its always put down to the extreme culture in Italy yet when an English team puts in such a display, its suddenly "hardcore fan base over in Europe".

Hardly surprising that this came from the same supporter base that booed its own player, Eboue, in their own stadium because he was playing poorly.

Lol i have no idea why i'm so fired up about this, i don't give a sh*t about Adebayor or Arsenal

He'll get his three games today for the stomp. City are not contesting it.

He has 13 days to appeal the charge of incitement. If found guilty he will get more games. He will miss the three games before the seperate charge is heard.

The stomp was bad, the celebration wasn't the smartest thing to do but he was booked at the time so that should be the end of it. I think the reason its been looked at is because of a collection of things that he did in the game. Several stamps, winding everyone up. etc.

The reaction from the Arsenal fans also wasn't that clever either. Ban the lot from attending home or away games in the future.
